Also, two kilometres away is the town of Chaudi, also known as Canacona or Chauri, the primary vantage point while getting to Palolem. Located on the main Mangalore-Panjim Highway, it is a major transport hub that connects Palolem and other parts of South Goa to major towns such as Panjim, Margao, Karwar, etc by rail and road. Chaudi is a developed town, complete with all the necessary provisions and several commercial setups to take care of the everyday essentials.

Other attractions around Palolem and Chaudi include the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, the second-largest in the state, Agonda Beach and Galjibag Beach.
